You'll only ever get a distorted one-sided version of the story from this book, full of the kind of bias that has sadly become the norm at the BBC for many decades. Some of the things the author says are downright lies. For example, he says Hamas doesn't use civilians as human shields. Does he think people are that naive?
I think Journalists like Jeremy Bowen have played a key part in whipping up a lot of this mass hysteria and antisemitism that we are seeing play out on the streets of London every weekend, with their irresponsible one-sided stance on Israel and Gaza. This book is anything but fair and balanced and is just a repetition of the kind of predictable rhetoric that you would expect from a BBC journalist.
GB News would not exist if Bowen and so many others of a similar ilk, were doing their job in an honourable, impartial and truthful way. It's not just authors/journalists who work at The BBC who give such an unbalanced view but most of the mainstream media.
On a more opportunistic note, the good thing is the Jeremy Bowen's of this world with their one-sided distorted version of reality, when it comes to The Middle East, are very much on the way out now. These people who have monopolised the media news landscape for so many years are now a dying breed. Long may it continue because the silent majority are sick and tired of not having a voice!
Thank you
