Oh I’m smiling so much! I’m so glad to read Tony and Blaise’s story. I was hoping they could get together from the previous books and this lived up to my expectations. Great to see again characters from this group. Lots of action, thrills and heart and romance. Lots of plot and heart as well as sexy times. Plus plenty of banter. Love this series. It gives your heart a work out in the best exciting way. Hope there are more stories to follow.

Another great book by LT.

I loved both Toby and Blaise.
Poor Blaise living with real self loathing since the incidence with Bailey. He don’t care if he lives or died and then he met Toby.

Toby may be small but he is mighty and he leads Blaise of a journey into the world of D/s which turns out to be exactly what he needs.

There is a good dose of all the characters from previous books plus a whole host of new characters.

Now, full disclosure D/s isk not my cup of tea but saying that it did not take away my enjoyment of this book.
Toby & Blaise along with the normal excellent writing from LT kept me gripped and entertained from start to finish.

Really looking forward to Danny’s book next

This world is so vibrant and real. The way the world moves around our characters is so well woven.
Every character feels like a real person and I can't wait to learn more about each and every one of them.

It's the story we have all been waiting for:
introduced in book two Blaise has been a prominent character throughout the wretched damned series and Damned Connections and Toby has been there from day one too!

And finally their story is here!!! And it is hot as hell!
Or as hot as a fire mage being edged by his doting vampire dom that is !

Toby has been burned before so is scared to put his heart on the line when it comes to Blaise but is determined to help this poor lost soul get some life back into him.

Blaise is touch starved, self deprecating and hates himself to the point of concern. Nothing makes him feel alive anymore except when he meets the eyes of the sexy vampire working the bar.

So when offered to submit, to give full control to someone who will support, and nurture but never love will he take the risk? Find himself while also finding a home.

Reading this answers so many questions we've been asking ourselves for books and books now! And it was satisfying and heart wrenching. And I loved every second of it.

Lark Taylor has done it again! Another brilliant book for the Eternal Damned/Damned Connections series.

It feels like we have been waiting for Toby and Blaise's book for a looooong time, and this does not disappoint. Blaise is hurting so much and these two give each other just what they need. I especially loved that getting Blaise into therapy was involved...I am all for the mental health rep that does not suggest love (or a BDSM dynamic) is enough to deal with mental health issues.

All those sneak peeks of Toby and Blaise's relationship we've been getting in previous books are not just explained but are here from their POV! The timeline for this book runs alongside Luck of the Devil, Patience, and Justice. Although you don't need to read those books (and the rest of Eternal Damned series) to read this, it added to my enjoyment. We even get to relive Ferry and *that* lat machine scene!

Read the content notes as this includes some dark mental health struggles.

I have been looking forward to Blaise and Toby's story for so long now. I didn't really know what to expect in some parts.

OMG Blaise, my poor boy. I knew he felt awful about what he did. It broke my heart seeing how he couldn’t forgive himself and how isolated he became. I have loved Toby from day one. He's one of my favourite characters in this series. I loved the way he helped Blaise overcome his isolation and helped him forgive himself. The relationship between these 2 worked very well, much more than I hoped they would.

I can't wait to read Danny's story.

I feel like I have been waiting so long for Blaise and Toby’s story! It was so worth the wait! Having the alternative view point of the previous books from Toby and Blaise was brilliant and the little teasers of Danny’s story to come (and hopefully all those scrummy seraphim!) have me so excited for Larks next books!

Blaise’s journey was both heartbreaking and heartwarming and am so glad he gets his HEA!

Initial review: Summary - Pain, more pain, tears, sobbing, sadness, a dash of malice, crying, screaming, tears x 2, heavy breathing, gasping, smiling through tears, ok ok this is good, oh no more crying, is this HEA? Okay yes HEA, le sigh, the end.

Toby and Blaise's relationship has been hinted at in the previous books and I couldn't wait to get all the details.
Boy was I in for a ride! 🫠

Toby is a feisty vampire who loves fixing broken boys.
When he realises he has a very broken one is his grasp, he wants to do whatever he can to make him feel better.

Blaise is living in a nightmare of his own making. The guilt is consuming him whole. He has practically given up. He would do anything for a little peace, including agreeing to be Toby's sub.

They agree on a one year contract (no chance of falling in love right?).

This book was full of longing. Gut wrenching, palpable longing. I probably spent half of it in tears for both of these men.😭

The Dom/Sub relationship was done perfectly. From communication, to honesty, to trust (mostly, iykyk). It was a beautifully portrayed dynamic and it was also so very hot.💜

Toby and Blaise own my heart and all the pieces of it that they broke along the way. I could not stop tearing up through the whole book because their feelings about everything are so strong you can taste them.❤️

Prepare yourselves for another tear inducing Lark book, maybe the most painful up to date. A very hard fought HEA. The found family with all the glorious demons and their mates. Banter, action and all the angst you could want! Enjoy at your own risk!😭
