Another successful collaboration between T.B & Miranda, this has a strong storyline & wonderful MCs whose journey from an employer/employee relationship to a more romantic & intimate one contains many familiar tropes, but always enjoyable when they are this well written (age-gap/repressing true feelings/melting ice queen/turning straight to gay/A-hole SWM ex-husband)
This one is stronger on family ties than bedroom antics but is overall no less enjoyable for that. Both authors are a guarantee of quality whether they write solo or as a pair, I recommend delving into their back catalogue if this is the first time you’ve dipped a toe into their works.

Great start. Genuinely amusing, not only banter but situations.
I have read a fair few books recently that have been fine, but perhaps lacked that urgency to get back to them when I had to put them down. This was different, I was always keen to get back. As I said before, I found it amusing but in a particular scene between siblings, very moving.
A really enjoyable romance! 4.5.

This is a beautiful and romantic story with a nice plot, up and down moments and real characters. The dialogues and how everything is connected is absolutely amazing. Both writers Miranda MacLeod and T.B Markinson did it again, thank you for one more wonderful book.

Another collab, another winner. Pieces of Us had me from the first chapter. Julianna, the un-iciest ice queen ever meets Rainbow Bright with a very cute kid and a funny bff thrown into the mix too. This was such a lovely story, made all the better by not having the awful 3rd act break-up. Instead Julianna showed us it’s possible to build things without tools.
Great humour and an all round lovely warm feeling, kinda like a book hug.

Another wonderful collaboration between Ms Markinson & Ms MacLeod. I really enjoyed this book about Julianna and Sadie. Julianna has just got divorced and gains custody of her niece. In order to cope with the extra responsibly of her niece and her new business, she employs a nanny, who just happens to be very attractive. As usual, the book is well written, good strong main characters and secondary characters. A good read that you won’t be disappointed with.

Simple, Its brilliant! Julianna - games designer and business woman & Sadie, a foster kid who does short term nannying. Two totally different people thrown together when Julianna needs help with her niece. Two different people who just complete each other. A story that is exceptionally well written and, most enjoyable. Loved it!

I had just finished an angst, drama filled difficult book with characters that frustrated me. This book was a wonderful gift. It is a sweet book with some difficult issues raised, but raised in a way that seemed genuine and all part of the story. The characters are like-able and funny, with colorful side characters. It is a warmhearted story that confirms that a family can be what you build if not what you were given. Thank you to these wonderful authors!!

TB and Miranda are my favorite writing duo and they've done it again. Like all of their books, Pieces Of Us has strong yet complex characters, great pacing, humor, tears, and ultimately a happy ending. Sadie and Julianna start as employee and boss when workaholic Julianna is unexpectedly made responsible for her adorable 9 year old niece Jadyn Sadie is hired through an agency as a temporary nanny. After a very rocky beginning between the two, separated and straight Julianna starts to have feelings for the younger, slow to trust Sadie. The development of their relationship, the running storyline, and the supporting cast all make for a wonderful read you both don't want to put down and don't want to end.
