This is the story of Anna, who like Rachel, deserved a second story to complete her tale.
It contains all the humour of Marian’s previous stories and even though the ending was obvious from the start, I stayed up until the early hours to finish it, which shows that it kept me entertained.
The reason for 4 stars is that I found it missing something & I think this is because her interactions with other members of the family are limited. Anna is a serious character, having experienced real heartbreak previously & although they feature, I missed the interactions with her sisters & of course the formidable Mammy Walsh. Anna has a plethora of nieces to continue the Walsh family saga & I sincerely hope that Mammy lives to beyond 100 and features in them all.
