This book and Cade Eaton are firmly embedded in my brain. This book was perfection. I love when there is a grumpy, quiet, lonely mmc with the cutest kid, and the loud, take no prisoners, witty, no cares in the world fmc together, it is one of my favourite pairings.
I was really drawn to Cade in the first book and needed to know more. He did not disappoint. Daddy Cade was just *chefs kiss*. I loved his banter with Willa and watching him fall for her was so sweet.
Willa was amazing, she’s sassy, so carefree, really sweet and her descriptions and inner monologues of Cade were absolutely hilarious. She met him completely head on with everything and I adored the scenes with her and Cades son and their relationship too.
I ate this book up and it has my complete heart, it’s so wholesome and I love it so much. A really easy five stars and I can’t recommend it enough.
