No one does small town like Carrie! This is the second book in the series and I loved digging deeper in to Presley's story and why he is such an over-protective, grumpy single dad. I enjoyed the way that he opens up and changes throughout the book and the instant chemistry between him and Cassie (even if they did get off on the wrong foot).
Cassie is a very likeable FMC, who strikes the right balance between self-doubt and confidence, and loves to tease Presley. The way she interacts with Presley, his daughter and the wider family is refreshing, whilst you learn more about her story and how she ended up in Hartson's Creek.
Overall its an easy read and perfect for a day curled up on the sofa to devour a story in one go. Hoping Marley's story is next!
