I've seen this book recommended on book groups so many times, that when it came up on sale on kindle, I jumped at the chance of buying it.
All I can say is it was OK. The ending was as I expected and feared, (not the frightening kind of feared though) I mean predictable and felt the whole story was a bit wasted because of it. I'm so pleased. I only paid 99p and that it was a short read. If it had been longer I'd had been raging that I wasted precious reading time on it for it to end the way it did.
