The first two books were both really good, especially the second book Heartless with Cade and Willa, but this one is very lacklustre compared to either of the first ones. I found it slow and didn’t feel any chemistry between the main characters. Jasper started out as a quiet unassuming person but turned into a foul mouthed animal once his relationship with Sloane became physical which just didn’t seem to fit. Sloane also underwent a personality transformation and was happy to be controlled by Jasper. The only highlights for me were the group texts, Willa’s banter is hilarious and Harvey made me laugh too.
