When Matthew takes his new girlfriend, Helena, on a trip to Iceland, the last thing that he expects is for her to have a shocking brush with death whilst on a mountain hike. Worse still, in the face of her own death, as she dangles from the precipice of a cliff, Helena confesses a shocking secret; and Matthew is put into the unfortunate position of keeping her dreadful confession to himself, no matter what the cost.
This is a suspenseful tale of blackmail, intrigue, and sinister suspense, as Matthew and Helena try to navigate their way through a series of disastrous consequences when they return to England. The plot is fast paced, with well-developed characters.
