I absolutely love this novel! I’ve recently read the Parisian which was fantastic and which gave me comfort in the midst of what’s going on in Gaza and when I find Isabella had a new novel I was really happy! It’s different but equally beautiful and powerful. I can’t wait to read future books that Isabella will write. What a wonderful writer! I’m not one of those people who likes lots of books, it’s very hard for me to find something that pulls me in and gets my undivided attention, and both her books did just that! Brilliant
